"Right from the off, my hat reaped plaudits from all around! The hotel I was staying at came to a standstill on reception when I walked out of the lift! They absolutely loved the hat (and my Caroline Charles suit) and were very complimentary. As I was arriving early at the wedding venue to help the bride's mother, there were florists and caterers running around - but they all stopped in their tracks as I walked in!!
